Day 2

Embark on an exciting journey that will take you to the depths of the ocean at Underwater World on Sentosa Island. You can experience a fish-eye view of sharks, stingrays, eels and other creatures of the sea swimming past as you travel through an 83-metre-long underwater tunnel. If you’re there at feeding time, you can watch divers get inside the gigantic oceanarium as schools of colourful fish dart to and fro in a mealtime frenzy. Make your way to the touch pool for a unique opportunity to touch exotic rays and starfish as they glide through the shallow water. Over at the Dolphin Lagoon at Palawan Beach, playful pink dolphins love to dive, flip and splash about, much to the delight of the crowd. For the ultimate experience, you can even choose to get into the water to play and swim with the dolphins.
If you prefer to stay dry, there’s plenty to do on land as well. History buffs will love exploring Fort Siloso’s tunnels, fortifications and artillery batteries, which helped to guard Singapore from invasion in the late 1800s. With the help of old films and photographs you can step back in time and imagine the life of soldiers and prisoners of war during the Japanese Occupation. The fort’s extensive collection of WWII memorabilia, life-sized replicas and interactive exhibits will give you a glimpse into an important chapter of Singapore’s history.
Back outdoors, it’s time to up the adventure quotient with a visit to Megazip Adventure Park. Whether you’re young or old, you’re sure to enjoy the adrenalin rush of the 450-metre-long Megazip—a huge zipline suspended high among the treetops along which you’ll soar from the top of Imbiah Hill to the sandy shores of Siloso Beach. If you’re up for even more excitement, you can experience a free-falling sensation with the ParaJump, test your fear of heights on a challenging climbing wall or try to keep your balance on a wobbly three-level obstacle course located a vertigo-inducing 12 metres above the ground.

The fun doesn’t stop here—it’s time to make your way to the Universal Studios theme park at Resorts World Sentosa. Rollercoasters, simulator rides, live entertainment and familiar movie characters roaming about the park ensure that you’ll never have a dull moment. Step into Hollywood Boulevard to experience a recreation of Tinseltown’s stunning architecture and feel like a star as you take a stroll along the Walk of Fame. You can journey back to Ancient Egypt on the Revenge of the Mummy ride or scream your lungs out as you take on the dizzyingly spinning experience of the Accelerator ride.
Hungry from all the fun and adventures you’ve been enjoying? Head for No Signboard Seafood at the Esplanade Mall for a mouth-watering seafood feast. A true Singaporean favourite, this is one of the best places to sample chilli crab—one of the country’s most beloved dishes. Huge fresh crabs are smothered in a tangy chilli sauce and served with mantou, or deep-fried buns, which are perfect for mopping up the delicious gravy. Warning: things will get messy!
